In October 2023, we opened our first Guesthouse to provide transitional housing for families and individuals in need. There are no barriers to being housed with this program. We work with the household to stabilize, find employment and begin paying their monthly expenses. Until that time, House on the Hill covers the rent and utilities so the family is protected from eviction and from utility shutoff. The household has the space to get to a point of self-sustaining financial peace.
In the next year House on the Hill is expanding its reach to meet the needs of 1400 families. They are working to provide transitional and emergency housing for close to 135 households, they are planning to open two more locations of The Grocery in Warren County as they continue the monthly Food Box program.

Household Sponsorship is the way we provide housing and food to the families and individuals we serve. Household Sponsorship in 2025 means close to 135 families/individuals will have access to transitional and emergency housing, close to 1200 families will have access to the monthly Food Box program or one of three free shopping experiences in The Grocery program network across the county and more households will have access to emergency food and wrap around services. Your monthly recurring support of $25 or $300 a year allows us to plan for the households who need our help.
Sponsoring a whole house in our affordable housing community or donating property like an existing house, car, trailer or land is a tax-deductible in-kind donation for you and allows us to house people quickly, provide transportation to someone who can't get to work and will help build our affordable housing community by the end of 2025.

High end finishes in 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Homes. Homes are designed to be historic, timeless and well-crafted to stand the test of time. The landscape of this community is planned to provide energy saving shade, outdoor gathering areas, a walking trail, community gardens as well as perennial-permaculture...fruit trees, bushes and other edible plants...to provide added food sources for households in the neighborhood.
A community-center with commercial kitchen, meeting space and community activities in also planted in the heart of the community.
